Road Closures around Fishery

Just to keep everyone informed to what is going on with the roadworks. I spoke to Roads Manager today and he assures me that there is access to fishery through roads, the only time it will not be possible to come through and you have to follow diversions is if the road is being tarred.

If you cannot come up the road from Dechmont and you have to follow divesions up through uphall, as soon as you reach ecclesmachan turn left heading for West Binnie and Golf course, when you get to the end of this road there is a road closed sign but you will see my sign saying access allowed. Just follow the road down until you get to the fishery.

The same applies if you are coming from Linlithgow side and you cannot get access through the road closure to Dechmont. Just then follow the road through Ecclesmachan and turn right on to the West Binnie road and follow instructions at road closed sign.

This should be far and few between as there are signs saying access to fishery maintained at either end and customers are allowed to travel on the closed road if coming to the fishery. If any issues just tell the workers that you are coming to the fishery. I have attached photos of how things look at the road signs showing access.

At night and over the weekend all access to the fishery will be OK as the workers do not work weekends so all all roads will be passable to the fishery.
