Weekly Report

This week we had four fishing clubs at Bangour. We had first time visitors
Hunterston FFC along with the Cambusbarron fishing club on Saturday. There was plenty fish moving and there for everyone to see but to get them on was proving quite challenging over the weekend. Hunterston club top angler was Jimmy Gibson who reached his 3 bag limit and weighed in at 10lb 8oz. Jimmy managed to get one rainbow, one tiger and a very nice blue. Not bad almost a full set only a brown missing smile emoticon:-)
Top rod for the Cambusbarron was R Berry who caught 2 rainbows weighing in at just over 6lb 8oz.

On Sunday we had the Fenmore angling club and The Bangour fishing club on the water. Fishing on Sunday was also proving difficult with fish being lost and the wind constantly changing direction. We had at one point the ripple in the water going in three different directions!!!!
D Wilson was the top angler from Fenmore with two fish at 6lb.
Bangour anglers were also finding the condition challenging with many struggling to land fish. Top rods were Gary White with seven fish Gerry King with Five fish and Jimmy Fairley also with five fish. Excellent fishing from Gary throughout the difficult conditions through the day.
